Nasim Farsani
Nasim is a mixed methods experience researcher passionate about understanding the psychology behind user behavior. She utilizes human-centered design principles and a blend of qualitative and quantitative research methods to uncover underlying problems and create delightful experiences. In collaboration with multiple incubators, she has helped tens of startups as a mentor in their service design and proof of concept. She is also a co-founder of Value Map startup studio, building innovative solutions that bridge the gap between user needs and technological advancements.
Ladan Fotouhi
Ladan is a seasoned industry professional and a global citizen. She studied industrial engineering -system analysis and has an MBA specializing in Marketing.
Ladan has been a market researcher for the past 12 years and has helped businesses around the globe understand their customers and markets better. She started her business consultation as a volunteer to help startups and expanded it to Futurpreneur and New Ventures BC upon arrival in Canada. In the past three years, she has helped 280+ startups from around the globe with their business model for a successful application for a startup visa program. The startups boasted a diverse array of specializations, spanning from eCommerce and blockchain applications to eLearning platforms and a broad spectrum of physical products outside the software realm. Each company brought a unique set of challenges to the table creating a dynamic and multifaceted entrepreneurial ecosystem for Ladan to tackle.
She is currently helping small businesses become more profitable by supervising MBA students executing their capstone project at University Canada West (UCW)

Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Jennifer is fluent in English, French, and Mandarin. She holds degrees in Law, Digital Media Design, and East Asian Studies, giving her a unique blend of skills. Jennifer has extensive cross-cultural experience, having spent eight years working and studying in Asia. During this time, she served as a corporate-commercial lawyer in Hong Kong, specializing in foreign investment in China, and later as a Web Design Manager for a B2B sourcing platform.
After retraining in Digital Media Design, Jennifer pursued a career in UX/UI design and communications. With over 20 years of experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. Her background enables her to bridge the gap between business strategy and user experience, ensuring that startups can achieve both commercial success and user satisfaction.
